about this Matt Cavotta show:

Some of us were talking the other day about whether the weather in Cleveland is one reason that the region is so arty.  We're thinking that when it's grey and cold outside, we crave color as much as carbohydrates.  How many artists imagine other worlds when forced inside by the weather to fill their color cravings?
What's cool about the Cavotta show is what's cool about our neighborhoods in the winter:  You walk down the street with your dog, and you just don't imagine that inside this house or that house there could be someone practicing the violin or someone up in their attic creating fantastical creatures for Magic cards.  Behind the grey winter veneer are other worlds.   Do come to the Gallery to see this one. It will make you smile, and wonder, and imagine.Pancake Breakfast

It was so sad to close The Holiday Store that we've kept some work in the Gallery in The Window Shop, where we're presenting ceramics, glass, jewelry, textiles, and cards.  So if you're looking for art by not only a good artist but a local one, look here.

Una & Ray had a passionate affair fifteen years ago, when she was 12 and he was 40.  Una has thought of little else since.  Ray has spent years in prison, and since then has established a new identity and embarked on a new life.  Una found Ray's photo in a magazine.  Blackbird  begins as she arrives unannounced at Ray's office.
