    Jazz in the Heights

"It perhaps seems no one is a more ardent defender of Clevelanders with a taste for world music than Brendan Ring - a witty, chatty Irishman who has fashioned Nighttown into a paradise for lovers of jazz and eclectic music.

Nighttown - a longstanding jazz club on Cleveland's East Side - throbs nightly with a blend of live jazz and world music from France to Ireland to the barrios of Los Angeles." Plain Dealer
