At the age of 16, Felix Mendelssohn composed one of the most beloved masterworks in classical music: his octet for double string quartet. William Preucil, Concertmaster of the Cleveland Orchestra, is the leader in what promises to be a very memorable rendition of this spirited, youthful piece. Some 100 years earlier, Antonio Vivaldi composed his glorious 4 Seasons. We will play 3 of his seasons with rotating soloists and then heat up the evening with a fiery Season in the Tango style by Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla.
