Marty Resnik has been a long time Cleveland Heights resident. He became interested in ceramics after attending a continuing education class on wheel throwing at the Cleveland Institute of Art.

He has been “throwing bowls” for more than 10 years and attributes his skill at throwing to the excellent instructors that he worked with at the CIA. Resnik works primarily with stoneware and porcelain. His goal is to achieve a piece that is both visually appealing and functional. All proceeds from his work are donated to The Cleveland Food Bank, The Adoption Network Cleveland and Milestones Autism Resources.
